ZZ PlantsUpdated 5 months ago

ZZ plants (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) are hardy and low-maintenance, making them great for both beginners and busy plant owners. Here's a guide to caring for them:

Lighting: ZZ plants tolerate low light conditions, making them ideal for indoor spaces. However, they grow best in bright, indirect light. We recommend placement near a west or south facing window for faster growth.

Watering: ZZ plants prefer to dry out completely between waterings. Try our Moisture Meter for easy water level monitoring. 😎

Feeding: Use diluted plant food once a month in the spring and summer. Stop feeding in the fall and winter since the plant goes dormant and will not need the extra nutrients.

Toxicity: ZZ plants are toxic if ingested, so keep them away from pets and children. 🚫

Common Issues:

Yellowing leaves may develop from over or under watering. Check out our blog on this topic for more info here!

With minimal care, ZZ plants can grow into striking, glossy-leaved houseplants that brighten up any space.
