How to Check for PestsUpdated 6 months ago
We take plant care seriously and do our best to ensure that the plants you receive are healthy and pest-free. Although we take preventative measures in our greenhouse, such as using bio-pest control, to minimize the occurrence of pests, sometimes nature does its thing and they can find their way into our plants. But don't worry, we have policies and practices in place to ensure that you get the quality plants we promised you.
We recommend thoroughly checking your plant as soon as it arrives for any signs of pests, such as:
- Visible bugs on the plant or in the soil
- Discoloration or damage to the leaves that follows a pattern
- Webbing or tiny holes in the leaves and stems
If you do happen to receive a plant that has any type of pests, please let us know as soon as possible. We will work with you to find the best solution, whether it be a refund or replacement. While most plants that arrive with pests are salvageable, we understand that pests can be a hassle and they are not an accurate representation of the quality we aim to provide. If you do choose to keep the plant that arrived with pests, we'd be happy to provide you with tips on how to get rid of them. Some plants are more susceptible than others and early prevention for any and all plants is always ideal! For both treatment and prevention, we recommend trying our Organic Pest Control Neem Oil and the Arber Organic Insecticide.
Reach out to us at [email protected] with photos of the pest(s) and your order number, and we'll take it from there. Our team will assist you in finding the best solution and ensure that you receive the care you deserve.
Remember, pests are common, but they're not welcome. We take pride in providing our customers with healthy and happy plants, and are committed to helping you keep unwanted guests away!
